Job description | Get paid to shop & dine out, literally. Do you find yourself dreaming of leisurely days shopping at the mall? Are you sick of cooking and wish you could spend all week dining out at your favorite restaurant chains? Do you find it hard to resist good sales or strategically take a moment or two to shop online at work? Are you on a first-name basis with your UPS, FedEx or USPS drivers? If so, this new gig is for you: go shopping with a USD 5.000 budget over the course of one week! You will be given gift cards from a range of major retailers and restaurants for your shopping spree; test the company app and website while shopping the retailers and restaurants you love on and the RetailMeNot app; don’t spend it all in one place: shop from a mix of at least five online and in-store retailers, that are selected by RetailMeNot per day, and purchase at least one item from each of the retailers; note the effectiveness of the coupons, promo codes, cash back offers, and instant cash back gift cards; one meal per day will be comped, as the company will ask you to test  casual dining offers and you can spend up to USD 50 per day on dining at restaurants on the RetailMeNot app; document and share your shopping experiences and findings with the RetailMeNot team, which may be shared with The Real Deal readers.

Candidate qualifications | Must have a minimum of 2 years shopping experience both in-store and online; you are a shopping authority who’s on the cutting edge of finding the best deals; you have sharp navigation skills both online and at the mall, shopping centers, and big-box retailers; you’re knowledgeable in money-saving tactics like using coupons, cash back offers, and promo codes; you are at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and the ability to get to all of your favorite stores; you are legal to work in the United States.
