Job description | Execute seasonal brand activations as part of the North America Marketing Team: directly support paid media, social, and public relations efforts providing a well-rounded view of marketing communications; support editorial requests for product fulfillments, interface with agency contacts, support social media with research, audits and posts, and manage purchase orders and invoices; additionally, gain exposure and business understanding through ongoing integration into large-scale projects (campaigns, events, etc.).

Candidate qualifications | 0-2 years of direct experience. This can be direct experience in marketing, communications or comparative roles that demonstrate your capabilities (marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business and Social Media majors desired); organized; able to prioritize multiple work tasks and requests. Equally important to communicate when unsure of prioritization; strongly familiar with Social Media and its applications for a brand (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and YouTube); be a collaborative team member for internal and external communications. Strong business acumen and professionalism will be required as this role represents the team; understanding of / interest in paid media (print, Out of Home, events, and digital advertising), social media (above platforms – paid and owned), and earned media (editorial placements, blogger/influencer); interested in and aware of recent trends that could impact Timberland’s business (i.e. fashion, celebrities/influencers, sustainability, etc.); able to accurately keep track of project flow and financial documents; fast learner, multi-tasker, problem solver; flexible, can-do attitude a must; must know Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Keynote is a plus; basic Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator skills a plus.
